Coming Soon… Market Bag Classes

Keep a look out for Market Bag classes. We will have details on the dates, times and prices in the next week or so. We will be offering a Knit version of the bag and a Crochet version. Both made from cotton from Classic Elite. We will post photos of the sample bags soon. It will be a great project to be done just in time to take with you when Farmers Market to get into full swing!

Rowan Revolving Trunk Show

We have a new Rowan trunk show in and for the next few months the trunk shows will be revolving. So make sure and stop in often to make sure to see all the wonderful samples that will be provided to us in the great new yarns we have in.

Classic Elite

Spring yarns from Classic Elite are in and more are coming. We also have some wonderful samples of some of the great new patterns for this spring. A must see.

***** Tulip Workshop*****

We are holding a Tulip Knitting Workshop on 3 Wednesday’s in a row. We will knit and then assemble these tulips to be given to shut-ins. In other words, folks in our community who are unable to get out and see the tulips bloom. We would love all the help we can get. Come and help and bring all your friends. Bring your #8 needles. Double points would be fine, although if all you have are straight needle they will work as well. We will provide the yarn and the pattern. Once you get it down, if you would like to work on them from home and drop off the petals later, that would be super!

Great New Things Now, What’s Coming in February!

First things first. We just got in some gorgeous yarn that is a must see.

We are offering this yarn in Silks and Mohairs in a wonderful selection of colors. We also have a grouping a patterns to choose from specifically for this yarn.

Also just in is some new yarns from Prism. Stop in and check it out.

Also, we have a great scarf by Prism that is made with a beautiful ribbon that we just got in. The sample is done in a white and silver ribbon but you have a rainbow of choices.

Bring in your favorite finished project. We’ll put it on display. It’s about time folks know how talented all of you are! Plus we always want to see how your projects turn out.

Classes on Demand

This is something new we are going to start in February. Instead of scheduling classes as we have in the past we are going to let you tell us what you would like to learn. Thus the idea of Classes on Demand. We will set aside time from 11:30-3:00 every Tuesday where we will be able to schedule private classes with individuals or small groups.

Thought we’d mix it up a bit. We’ll see how this goes.

As always come and unwind with us on Tuesday evenings and Thursday mornings for open knit and crochet.
