Hi,
I have a problem I hope you can solve. I am looking for a pattern for a small doll sweater. The finished product will be mounted on linen and framed, to be used as a ‘new baby’ gift. On the linen, below the sweater, will be the name of the baby and date of birth, in cross stitch.
My friend is willing to do this for me, but she wants a pattern. She’s an accomplished knitter, so difficulty is not an issue. She made one for me years ago, a surprise gift when my son was born. She originally found the pattern in one of her Dutch magazines (she’s Dutch), but has since misplaced it.
I looked at Betty Lampen’s mini-sweaters, but they are only 1.5″ tall. I’m looking for something about 3″ tall. Your doll sweaters look great, but are too big, and I can’t seem to find anything online in the right size. Do you have any suggestions for me?
I’m located in Chicago and my friend is in Indianapolis, so we need to contact you online or by phone.

Hi Susan, You bet. Just call the store (number is always on the front page, but meantime ((616) 392-2035), between 10a.m. and 5p.m. weekdays EST. These patterns will become easier to get a hold of as soon as the designer can make that happen. There’s so much interest!
