The new Rowan yarns are here!

It took a few days, but we’ve finally gotten all the new Rowan yarns priced and on the shelves.  There are two new yarns to talk about, as well as lots of new colors in several favorite stand-by’s!

Summerspun is a 50% Merino 50% Cotton.  What they’ve done is taken a strand of each and twisted them together to create a yarn full of color and texture!

Creative Linen is also new.  It’s made of 50% Linen and 50% Cotton.  The yarn gets softer with use and comes in a large selection of colors!

We’ve also gotten new colors in Amy Butler’s Belle Organics DK and Aran weights, Cotton Glace’, Handknit Cotton, Kidsilk Haze, and Summer Tweed.  Stop in and see all the new yarns, colors and pattern support we have!

We don’t want to forget to mention that we have another class ready for you.

Well, mother nature sure has handed us some weird weather this season.  Just when you think spring might be around the corner, she sends us some snowflakes to remind us who’s in charge.  She can’t take away our excitement for spring/summer yarns though!  We should have some new arrivals posted here next week!

We’ve decided to extend our current sale for another week to help make room for the new yarns we’re expecting.  If you’re looking for a great deal on beautiful yarns, stop in and take advantage of savings from 20-50 % off!   on select yarns,  needle cases, patterns and knitting bags.

Classes are in the works, so keep an eye out for our new listing which should show up here the middle of next week or so!

And last but not least, we won’t be holding Tuesday Night Knit on February 14 due to it being Valentine’s Day.

It might not seem like it considering all the snow we received yesterday, but it’s time for us to start making room for spring/ summer yarns!

Through February 4th we’re having a ‘Make Way for Spring/Summer Yarns’ sale.  Stop in to find yarns from

20-50% off!

Ripple style scarves are very popular right now!  In fact, we’ve had trouble keeping the yarn in stock!  Our newest addition to yarns for these style scarves is ‘Castagnette’.  It has a gauze type texture so it has a lofty appearance.

We’ve finally received an order of Moda Lame’. Currently we have 3 colorways in stock, with many more on the way!

A new shipment of sock yarn from Opal has arrived.  The colorways are based on paintings by Vincent van Gogh.

Also, we’ve received the new Rowan Magazine #51, along with several other new Rowan books for spring and summer, with more to come!  Wait until you see what’s inside!

Happy Holidays!

Due to the business of the coming week we will not be having Tuesday night open knit this week.  Sorry for the inconvenience!

All of us at Lizzie Ann’s want to extend a wish to you for health and happiness through out the coming year.

In the last post we talked about some one-skein projects.  Well, here we’ve included some photos of new yarns we’ve gotten in that will work well with the one-skein theme.

First we have Tilli Tomas’ Hand Painted yarn in baby themed colors.  The hint of beads makes them perfect for that special new baby!

Tutu from Crystal Palace is a fun new yarn!  With curly scarves being very popular right now, this is a perfect choice to mix things up!

Last but not least is the yarn Mohair Splash by Artyarns.  We have been carrying Mohair Splash for some time now, but the new colors never cease to amaze us!  This yarn is gorgeous and comes in some absolutely beautiful colors!

On another note, this is one of our busiest times of year, and therefore we will be holding off until mid January to post a new class list.  We’re sorry for the inconvenience, but hope that you will check back frequently to check updates!

And remember, if you have any questions, please contact us here at the shop! Our Ph# is (616) 392-2035
